Jeanne, 2 yrs old, a Princess in Versailles...

Ok I know, I am more than late for this post... Jeanne celebrated her 2nd birthday on the 9th of June and I was in Paris the week end after to celebrate it with her parents and grand mother.

Crazy as she improved her language since Easter. Of course, she has her own language but she really begins to be a real perrot and knows heaps of words. She is still full of 'joie de vivre' and easy going... however, you can now note she has a strong caracter and needs sometimes to get angry... nevertheless, she remains an adorable doll I am totally crazy for!

Like her godmother, she adores music. Impossible though to play the piano with her: taking my hands out so that I cannot play, 'the piano is mine'!

Risk taker, she loves climbing and bouncing on her Ikea reindeer .

Tired, she is so cute in her dress bought in the Canary Islands just before the crossing for her 1st birthday.

Very much interested in animals and colors, she loved her new book written to teach her how to count.

We took the little Princess to Versailles. A real traveler already, she kept on going up and down the stairs in between 2 wagons while we were having a very romantic picnic on the way to Versailles!

For both of us, it was out first time here. Can you believe it? I have almost been around the world but had never visited this wonder. Fabulous gardens, which we visited half running after Mademoiselle, too happy to be able to run in the alleys, towards the water basins, to pick up flowers, cross forbidden gardens... a very disjointed visit on a fantastic sunny day.

Back home to prepare the anniversary lunch of the day after. In the morning, I read her a story and Jeanne was very focused...

... untill she feels like running all over the places again and play with her velcro fastening shoes!

We had a real treat, a buffet with a mix of cold and hot dishes and we helped Jeanne to blow her 2 candles, which meaning she did not quite understand yet.

This little girl is only happiness!
